Ex Parte Communication in Immigration Law

In this area of law, Ex Parte Communication means: Any communication about a case between a party and an Immigration Judge which does not include the other party. Ex parte communications are generally prohibited. A party cannot speak about a case with the Immigration Judge when the other party is not present. In addition, all written communications about a case must be served on the opposing party.
